Free Consultation

I highly recommend scheduling a free 20-minute consultation. This is time for you to ask me questions about my style, approach, practice and any other questions you might have. It's also a good idea to meet with a couple of therapists to make an informed decision. You can schedule a consultation right away under the contact section. Please note that you will need to fill out initial documents prior to the consultation beginning or the consultation may be cancelled.

Fees

My rate is 160.00 per 50 minute session and 80.00 per 30 minute session.

Cancellations, No Shows, Reschedules

There is no fee for cancelling an appointment. A flat fee of 50.00 will be charged for no shows.

Cadence of Therapy

Everyone is different and coming to therapy with different needs. Some people find that every couple of weeks works well and others find that weekly is better. Together, we will agree on a reasonable and therapeutically valuable cadence. Sometimes, people find they are going through a challenging time and need more support and we can adjust frequency to meet that need. Other times, life is improving and/or busy and more spaced out sessions make sense.

Out-of-Scope

In some cases, you may need a different provider with a specialty that I do not possess. I will be sure to collaborate with you to identify the right expertise recommended and provide resources.

Ages

I have had a long career of working with people across the lifespan. Currently, I have concentrated my practice on working with clients who are 14 years old and older. Special considerations will be made for working with younger children on a case-by-case basis.

Practice Locations

I see clients virtually as well as in-person. My in-person practice is located in NE Portland. There is plenty of free parking, all gender bathrooms and is in a suite with several others providers. Please see below for virtual session information.

Goodness of Fit

What if I am not a good fit for you? That's OK! It happens. We will work together to ensure you have resources to find a different provider. This is your journey and it's critical you feel comfortable with whomever you are working with in therapy.

Virtual Therapy

Per tele-health laws for LCSWs, when you attend a virtual visit you must be in the state where your provider is licensed during the virtual session. For my practice, that means, you must be physically present in Oregon or Washington when the virtual appointment happens. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
